Fort St. John, B.C. the far frozen Northeast corner of British Columbia. Many people have heard of this corner of the province either from friends, family, or have spent a few years here themselves. It’s a small population with a whole lot going on and is usually underappreciated until you understand the volume of resources that come out of this corner of the province; and how important it is for everyday life throughout the rest of the Province. 63,000 people live and work in the Peace River Region out of a total population of 4.6 million in BC, that is 1.3% of the population that maintains 38% of electricity (46% by 2024), and 80% of natural gas produced in Province.
GeoScan is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Fort St. John to help supply the Peace Region with accurate EM Locates. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) services will be added soon. Leading operations in the region will be Ryan Siddall, a native of Fort St. John, who comes with over 10 years of EM Locating experience in the region and an excellent knowledge of the surrounding area.
